Kabokweni Care Center
Dear Friends,
For the past year and a half, Ten Thousand Homes has been serving in a community called Kabokweni. We’ve partnered with a wonderful woman named Elizabeth, feeding over 160 children three times a week out of her home

Behind Elizabeth’s house there is plot of land we are developing to build a proper facility for these children. We have the blueprints drawn up and are preparing to start on the foundations and abolution block (toilets). This building will help us tremendously in being able to reach these children in a more effective way and we are continuing to trust God to provide the remaining funds for the center.
Our hope is that the local community will get involved so we are trying to find volunteers to help with the new building. There are young men willing to help with the construction, but they don’t have any building skills and they need someone who can be there during the building process to train them. This is something we are specifically praying about.

The needs of these children are staggering and we will never fully know what these kids go through on a daily basis. At the end of the day, we want this center to be a place of hope for these children. A place where they can start to realize their lives have meaning and purpose and are filled with an excitement and joy knowing there is a family who cares for them and a Father who dreams with them about their lives.
Thank you for partnering us in prayer as we move toward the Father’s heart in providing a place of safety for these children.
